SLUDGE RECEIVER BOX: Available in 7,10,13
and 16 cubic yards. The side walls are constructed of 10 gauge steel (7
gauge and Cor-Ten available). Sludge box floor is constructed of 3/16"
steel. Rear door has double wall construction with leak proof rubber
seal. Opening and closing of rear door is done hydraulically. The
door is equipped with a screened water drain ad a 10' long drain hose. The
sludge box is equipped with removable stainless steel filter screens and
secondary separator with cleanout doors. The cabinet has a built-in 4"
taper from front to back to facilitate fast unloading. the sludge box is
easily removable from the main frame. Three steel access ladders are
provided for service. (Other size boxes are available on request).
SLUDGE RECEIVER BOX HOIST: The sludge
receiver box is designed to have a 50° dumping angle. The hoist has
power-up and power down. The hoist sub frame is constructed of 2" x 6"
square tubing with a tubing with a 3/8" thick wall.
ENGINE: The CV3D is powered by a John Deere
125 HP diesel engine. The engine has a 12 volt electrical system, 30
gallon fuel tank, governor, ammeter, choke, throttle, automatic high water
temperature and low oil pressure shutdown, tachometer, and hour meter. The
engine is equipped with a 70 amp battery. The suction impeller is driven
by a 5 groove power band from an 11-1/2" over center clutch. (Other
engines are available.)
SUCTION IMPELLER: The suction
impeller is driven through a power band to eliminate individual belt stretch and
provide maximum belt contact on driving sheeves. The impeller is
constructed of 1/4" thick low carbon, quenched and tempered, alloy steel having
a tensile strength of 115,000 psi. the impeller is both statically and
dynamically balanced delivering 27,000 cubic feet of air movement per minute at
the governed engine speed. The suction impeller is mounted on a 2-15/16"
diameter shaft supported by two sealed self-aligned pillow block bearings.
SUCTION CASE: The suction case is
constructed of 5/16" steel equipped with a two piece replaceable abrasion
resistant liner. The suction case air discharge is through a noise muffler
designed to meet OSHA sound level requirements. The suction case is also
equipped with inspection cover and water drain.
SWIVELING HYDRAULIC BOOM: The suction hose
support boom is hydraulically powered. It is remotely operated with a push
button control. The boom is spring loaded and operates on a circular
support track enabling 180° rotation. The boom has a lifting capacity of
1000 pounds. The hydraulic system for the boom operation is self-contained
incorporating its own tank, pressure relief system, and filter.
CATCH BASIN SUCTION ASSEMBLY: Choice of 8",
10" or 12" diameter suction assemblies. The rubber suction hose is 9 feet
in length. The rigid ducts are available in 7' 11", 5' and 2' sections
provided with over center couplings. The suction ducts are constructed of
stainless steel for maximum wear and minimal corrosion.
HIGH PRESSURE WATER SYSTEM: The CV3D comes
equipped with a 300 gallon tank, 25 foot spray hose, jet spray nozzle and 6 foot
spray wand. There are two types of water spray systems available:
System 1 is equipped with a piston pump developing 1000 psi and delivering 2 gpm
(standard). System 2 uses a positive displacement pump developing 75 psi
and delivering 120 gpm. (Optional).
BALL JOINTS: Choice of 8", 10", or 12"
diameter. The ball joint reduces hose wear plus increases operator
maneuverability. It is designed to attach to all suction inlet
ports. The ball joint is galvanized and silicone treated.
(optional).
INTERNAL WASH DOWN SYSTEM: To
eliminate the need for daily screen washing the internal wash down system can be
incorporated into the sludge receiver box. It washes the screens with
ceiling mounted jets. The water can be supplied by the CV3D water system
or a hydrant attachment. (optional).
REAR THROTTLE CONTROL: A secondary throttle
and kill switch can be mounted at the rear of the unit near the
tailgate.
