SPECIFICATIONS
FEATURES: SUCTION HOUSING: Housing is rotated 45 degree for the most efficient discharge. Constructed of 10 gauge welded steel and furnished with 1/4" thick replaceable liners. Liners are abrasion resistant steel and are a slip-in design. A full size cover plate is bolted to the face of the housing to facilitate liner removal. A clean-out door is provided in the suction housing with a safety shutdown switch. SUCTION HOSE: The heavy duty rubber intake hose is 16" diameter. The suction hose is connected to the suction housing via a 45 degree inlet nozzle which prevents any bending or kinking of the hose. At the suction end of the hose there is a 90 degree steel elbow to prevent premature hose wear. Attached to the steel elbow is a removable 16" diameter steel suction nozzle or an optional 36" wide swiveling shroud. The hose is equipped with a safety shutdown switch that shuts the engine down should the suction hose become disconnected. The entire hose assembly shall swing into a travel position without kinking or bending the hose. HOSE SUPPORT BOOM: The hose support boom is a low profile, side mounted boom assembly which incorporates two bearings to ease the swinging motion of the hose. The boom assembly has one hydraulic cylinder to raise and lower the hose and a second cylinder to swing the boom in and out. Both hydraulic cylinders are double acting. Controls for the hose support can either be mounted at the operator's handle or be held as a remote pendant. SUCTION IMPELLER: Impellers are statically and dynamically balanced, constructed or T-1 steel for prolonged wear. Impellers are furnished with six blades fully welded to a convex back plate. POWER TRANSMISSION: A grip-notched power band belt is used to drive the suction impeller. The power band belt helps to protect the engine and PTO from shock loads imposed on the suction impeller. DISCHARGE ASSEMBLY: Constructed of 10 gauge steel and rectangular in shape. The discharge is mounted in the center of the trailer for efficient loading. A 16" diameter by 6' long flexible rubber hose with a smooth interior and an 18" cuff shall connect the leaf machine to a leaf receiver box. ENGINE: The John Deere engines feature counter balanced crank shafts for smooth operation and replaceable wet-type cylinder liners which provide excellent heat dissipation. The engine is mounted on rubber isolators to absorb any engine vibrations. Engine will be equipped with an Auto Clutch PTO, 12 volt starting system, 78 amp alternator, governor, dry type air cleaner, remote oil drain, electric throttle with two control locations, muffler, secondary radiator screen, and a 30 gallon fuel tank with a sight gauge. ENGINE CONTROLS: All engine controls are rubber mounted on a remote pedestal not on the engine. Standard controls include tachometer, hour meter, ammeter, oil pressure gauge, temperature gauge and low oil pressure/high water temperature shutdown system. HYDRAULICS: All the hydraulic functions are driven by a hydraulic pump which is gear coupled to the engine.. The hydraulic ump operates the front hydraulic jack and the four way hose support boom. The hydraulic system is "live" as soon as the engine is started. TRAILER: The trailer is formed steel plate and supported by structural channel crossmembers. The axle and springs are rated at 6,000 lbs. and the tires are ST225-75-R15 radials mounted on white spoked steel wheels. The telescopic tow bar is constructed out of 4" x 6" tubing and includes an adjustable pintle hitch, safety chains and a hydraulic parking jack with a 5" swivel castor wheel. The lighting package includes DOT lights as well as two 4" diameter amber flashing lights in the rear of the unit. PAINT: The standard color is Yellow. Other colors are available.
